The TV picks for the FA Cup quarter-finals have been confirmed, with ITV set to show the mouthwatering clash between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford.

United sealed their passage through to the last eight by edging past Nottingham Forest 1-0 on Wednesday, while Liverpool beat Southampton 3-0 at Anfield on the same evening.

The two English giants will now meet for a place in the semi-finals at Wembley, with the game set to kick-off at 3.30pm on Sunday, March 17 on ITV.

All four ties will be played across the weekend of March 16-17, and the game at Old Trafford will take place on Sunday due to Liverpool also being in action in the Europa League just three days earlier against Sparta Prague.

Liverpool are still in the hunt for four trophies after winning the Carabao Cup last weekend, and could take a step closer to another piece of silverware against their bitter rivals.

The BBC may have missed out on the showdown between United and Liverpool, but they will still televise two exciting cup ties.

They have selected to show Newcastle’s trip to Manchester City, as Pep Guardiola‘s men aim to stay on course for back-to-back Trebles.

Man United vs Liverpool – Sunday, March 17, 3.30pm kick-off (ITV1)

City roared into the quarter-finals by thrashing Luton 6-2 thanks to five goals from Erling Haaland, whereas Newcastle needed a penalty shootout to see off Blackburn Rovers. The game at the Etihad Stadium will begin at 5.30pm on Saturday, March 16.

A repeat of the 2021 final between Chelsea and Leicester will also be on BBC One, with kick-off at 12.45pm on March 17.

The Foxes beat Chelsea at Wembley three years ago as Youri Tielemans’ stunning strike separated the two teams, and the Blues will be out for revenge as they eye a second trip to England’s national stadium this season after losing the Carabao Cup final to Liverpool last weekend.

The FA Cup weekend will all begin at Molineux when Wolves host Championship club Coventry City on Saturday lunch-time, with the match due to get underway at 12.15pm.

Coventry ended Maidstone United’s fairytale run earlier this week when they hammered the non-league outfit 5-0, while Wolves needed just a single goal to beat Brighton. That match will be available for viewers on ITV1.
