Having already won the Carabao Cup, the Reds could end the season with a quadruple if they win the Premier League, Europa League and FA Cup.

But while Klopp might be leaving with fireworks, the prospect of returning to employment has not enticed him.

According to the Daily Mail, TV broadcasters are desperate to get hold of Klopp ahead of Euro 2024 in his home country Germany.

The BBC and ITV are battling to get hold of Klopp and line him up as one of their pundits for the tournament.

But it’s understood the 56-year-old has no plans to get himself in the studio and wants to attend matches like a regular fan.

He even has tickets for Germany’s first three games, including the tournament opener against Scotland on June 14.

Die Mannschaft’s next two group games are against Hungary and Switzerland, with matches being held at Munich’s Allianz Arena, Stuttgart’s MHPArena and Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt.

Klopp’s rejection would be a big blow to the BBC and ITV, who believe the bouncy character of the Liverpool boss would be excellent viewing having impressed as a pundit for German TV during the 2006 World Cup, which was also staged there.

The Reds coach wants to stay away from the limelight for some time after a gruelling nine years in charge at Anfield.

After the tournament, Klopp is expected to go on a long and deserved holiday.

An emotional farewell is expected ahead of the final game on Merseyside for Klopp, who Liverpool fans have fallen in love with.

He became the first manager to lead Liverpool to a league title in 30 years when they won the Premier League in 2021.

And his success in the Champions League in 2019 saw the club lift their sixth European Cup.

As for returning to football, Klopp has already stated his plan for the future.

He said: “If you ask me, ‘Will you ever work as a manager again?’ I would say now no.

“But I don’t know obviously how that will feel because I never had the situation.

“What I know definitely – I will never, ever manage a different club in England than Liverpool, 100 per cent. That’s not possible.

“My love for this club, my respect for the people is too big. I couldn’t.

“I couldn’t for a second think about it. There’s no chance. This is part of my life, we are part of the family, we feel home here.

‘There’s no chance to do that. But all the rest, will I ever work again? Of course, I know myself, I cannot just sit around.

“I will find something else maybe to do. But I will not manage a club or a country at least for a year, that’s not possible, I cannot do that and I don’t want to.”
