Declan Rice had an experience to forget with the Arsenal midfielder one of four England stars to compete in a Great British Bake Off special.
All of the players were challenged by Bake Off’s Paul Hollywood to make their favourite footballers using gingerbread as part of a video on Channel 4 Sport’s YouTube channel.
Some stars took to baking a lot easier than others, with Rice immediately struggling.
He said: “Place the cardboard template on the biscuit dough and carefully cut out the shape of the footballer.
“What am I cutting with, this? I don’t even know which way it’s supposed to be used!
“I don’t even know where I’m going, what I’m doing.”
Arsenal’s summer signing just couldn’t get the knack and his final product had the rest of his teammates in hysterics.
As he was reviewing each gingerbread, Hollywood lifted Rice’s biscuit off the table, only for Terry’s head to fall off into his hand!
The England stars were left sprawled across each other as they enjoyed their teammate’s mistake that saw him end up coming last out of the four.
Trippier came third before Henderson and his former Liverpool pal Alexander-Arnold were left waiting to find out the winner.
Hollywood then announced Trent as the champion and gave him a famous ‘Hollywood Handshake’ to congratulate him.
Speaking after the win, the Reds defender stated: “I’m over the moon, I’ll be honest.
“I set myself the challenge of trying to win from the start. I think I’ve got a natural talent for it!”
Trippier then reacted to his third-place finish, admitting: “At least my head didn’t fall off like Dec’s!”
