Marcus Rashford’s outburst at a Manchester United fan channel has been labelled an ‘overreaction’ by presenter Mark Goldbridge.
The forward has come under fire for his performances at a time when United have struggled for goals and form.

With just one goal in ten games and no sign of replicating last season’s 30-goal haul, questions have been asked of the academy graduate.
Rashford was criticised by boss Erik ten Hag last week after visiting a nightclub following United’s 3-0 derby defeat to Manchester City.
The England international reacted angrily to a social media post by The United Stand promoting a live stream to discuss the forwards future at the club.
After coming across the post, Rashford replied: “Please STOP spreading malicious rumours.”
Mark Goldbridge, who presents for both The United Stand and talkSPORT, has defended the channel’s right to discuss the 26-year-old’s current plight and revealed his disappointment at Rashford’s social media response.
“From our point of view, it’s simply about what is Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United?,” Goldbridge told talkSPORT Breakfast.
“He’s been a key and important figure for Manchester United for the first year of Ten Hag’s reign but this season he’s been very, very poor.
“He’s the best paid player at Manchester United, he’s the star of the team and yet, he’s not performing. We’ve got a young player in [Alejandro] Garnacho coming through. If he starts performing in the absence of Rashford’s consistency, what is the future for Marcus Rashford?

“There’s absolutely no way he’s up for sale and we didn’t even mention that so it’s an overreaction from a player that really in my opinion should be focusing on Manchester United, training and getting himself back in form and not spending time on Twitter (now known as X) because I don’t think the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and top players do that.”
