Eddie Hall’s first mixed martial arts fight camp is well underway.

Last month, ‘The Beast’ announced he is set to take on Mitchell Hooper, the current World’s Strongest Man, in Qatar next February at an event promoted by Finishers Championship.

Now, Hall has given fans a glimpse into his preparation for the bout.

The 35-year-old shared a video of him sparring with various opponents on social media and it showed off his ever-improving boxing ability and recently acquired wrestling skills.

As always, Hall looks jacked and capable of giving anyone trouble in the cage due to his sheer size which helps him master new sports faster than most.

He captioned the post: “Today I signed a contract to fight MMA! February 17th 4 man eliminator against Brian Shaw, Martyn Ford and Mitchell Hopper.

“Training has begun and I’m loving the challenge this has brought to the table.”

In March 2022, Hall got his first taste of combat sports when he took part in an eagerly anticipated boxing match against his former strongman rival Hafthor Bjornsson.

Hall underwent an epic body transformation that saw him drop six stone in weight before he fell to a decision defeat against the man who famously portrayed ‘The Mountain’ in Game of Thrones

Since then, he has bulked up and flirted with the idea of trying his luck as a professional sumo wrestler following a training session with Britain’s best.

Hall is now fixated on MMA after recently hooking up with a UFC champion.

In the same month Hall announced his debut in a new sport, he released a video to YouTube that showed him getting put through his paces by MMA heavyweight Tom Aspinall.

Of course, he was no match for ‘The Honey Badger’, but Hall did receive grappling tips that will help when it’s time to fight a fellow novice.

Soon after his workout with Hall, Aspinall accepted a short-notice scrap with Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 and knocked out the Russian contender to become the interim heavyweight titleholder.

Aspinall is now a bonified superstar and it appears Hall may need to reach deep into his pockets if he hopes to book another private workout with the third British champion in UFC history.
