Georgia vs Scotland preview

Georgia have won twice on either side of three losses in the qualifiers but also won in October in a friendly to Thailand winning 8-0.

But they did lose to Scotland 2-0 in the reverse fixture back in June.

Managing nine shots on target but failed to hit the target in that time, with the game reasonably split between them.

This suggests the price is fair as Georgia could put in a bigger performance but Scotland did go 1-0 up early on and proceeded to defend a two goal lead for the majority of the second half.

Georgia vs Scotland betting tips

Both teams to score, Scotland to win – 10/3

Scott McTominay has already scored three this season for Man United, surpassing most seasons goal tallies in the league.

While for his national team he’s getting an average of a goal a game this season in the UEFA Euro Qualifiers and can’t be ruled out from scoring once again.

The style of play that Scotland have opted for so far has suited the midfielder well for him to run through on goal multiple times and work to find space through the middle.

Georgia could be susceptible to that having conceded seven against Spain, two to Norway and another two to Scotland before then.

But Georgia have scored in each of their last four games in all competitions and could finally find the target this time around at home.
