Impressive early year wins have now been followed by defeats to Stanford, UCLA, and Oregan State in three of their last four matches.

Still, Shedeur’s impact has been significant. He’s already met LeBron James and seen DJ Khaled copy his signature watch show-off celebration.

And that’s before you talk about his ability on the field which has seen him throwfor 2,882 yards, 24 touchdowns and three interceptions, while adding three rushing TDs too.

Asked in an interview about who he might compare himself to, Sander was happy making a bold statement.

“Well, I’ll say it’s a mixture because I’m able to stay in the pocket and deliver the ball,” he told Complex.

“I can play like Brady but I’m also able to extend play and, if it’s not there, take it like Vick. So it just depends.

“It’s funny whenever situations in the game occur, they’re like, ‘hey, you gotta be Vick tonight. You gotta be Mike Vick tonight’.

“So that’s when we bring our legs involved.

“But I say it’s a mixture of a lot of great quarterbacks that all just have a different skill set. So that’s why I feel like I’m special in what I bring to the table. I wanna stay in the pocket, I wanna throw it like Tom, but sometimes those opportunities ain’t there.”

Brady is, of course, a multiple Super Bowl winner with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leading him to be regarded as one of the greatest of all time.

Vick didn’t claim a Super Bowl but starred for the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons helping the evolution of gridiron with his playmaking ability with his legs.

Meanwhile, Sanders isn’t too bothered by some of the hate directed at him as an NFL career beckons.

“I enjoy it. I enjoy the hate. I enjoy that they get mad,” he added.

“If they’re not talking about what you’re doing, you’re not relevant. So knowing that you got people hating on you, that means you’re doing something right.”
