Harlem Eubank leaves opponent stumbling around the ring with stunning right hook KO and calls out Conor Benn

Conor Benn has been called out by one of the Eubank’s, but it’s not the one you might expect.

On Friday night, Harlem Eubank, the cousin of Chris Eubank Jr, took on Timo Schwarzkopf in Brighton.

Three rounds into the fight, Harlem had his opponent down on the canvas from a right hook, but the German made it back to his feet.

Schwarzkopf survived until round eleven when Harlem piled on the pressure and landed yet another crushing right hook.

This time Schwarzkopf was hurt and although he got back up, he was on very unsteady legs and the referee rightfully waved off the contest.

After the bout, attention immediately turned to Harlem’s next opponent and his uncle, Chris Eubank Sr, was clear about who they want.

“Now, that’s put him right into the perfect position, that fight, for his next fight, which is at 147 lbs against Conor Benn,” Chris Sr said.

The former two-weight world champion then addressed Benn directly, saying: “Get your license and stop hiding from us, obey the rules Conor.”

And Harlem himself followed up with: “That’s what I’m coming for next, I’ve shown what I can do against a guy at the level of Timo, he’s never been stopped.

“I’m coming up to 147 lbs and Conor Benn is first on my hit list, let’s get it on.”

Benn, however, is more interested in fighting Harlem’s cousin Chris Jr, as they have a bitter rivalry.

The pair were scheduled to fight in October last year, but the fight fell through after Benn failed two drugs tests in the build-up.

Since then, Benn has been embroiled in the scandal, while striving to prove his innocence, although the situation remains unresolved.

With that being said, Benn did return to the ring in September in Orlando, Florida, as he beat Rodolfo Orozco by unanimous decision.

And next up, Benn’s promoter Eddie Hearn seems confident that he will be fighting Chris Jr early in 2024.

Although Benn has previously said that he is willing to fight Harlem afterwards, as he tweeted: “When I flatten @ChrisEubankJr in 3 rounds the nephew can come in for the encore and I’ll flatten him afterwards for banter.”
